Eligibility Criteria of
Education Qualification: To be eligible for direct recruitment to the position of Veterinary Field Assistant (VFA) in the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department of Assam, candidates must have passed their HSSLC (Science) with Biology as one of the subjects. Additionally, they must have completed a one-year certificate course in elementary knowledge of Veterinary Science from the recognized “School of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry” established by the Government of Assam at Ghungoor, Silchar.
Physical Standard : As per the Assam Veterinary Recruitment notification, candidates applying for direct recruitment to the Veterinary Field Assistant (VFA) cadre must be of sound health, both mentally and physically, and free from any organic defects or body infirmity that may interfere with their duties. They are required to undergo a medical examination before being appointed to the service.
