Other Eligibility Criteria For Fire & Emergency Services Assam Recruitment

Nationality– Candidates must be Indian citizens, permanent resident of Assam. Selected candidates will have to submit proof of residence /Domicile Certificate after publication of the final select list. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC/MOBC are exempted from submitting such certificates.

Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.

Local Language: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other state language fluently.

Age Limit:

• For the posts of Constables in APRO & Driver (Operator) in F & ES: The candidates should not be less than 20 years of age and not more than 25 years of age as on 01-01-2021.
• For the posts of Asstt. Squad Commander: 20 to 24 years as on 01-01-2022 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2002 and on or after 01.01.1998)

Relaxations :Upper age limit will be relaxed for:

• 5 (five) years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST (P) and ST(H).
• 3 (three) years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC.
• Additional relaxation of 3 (three) years in respect of trained Home Guards who have served for a period of 3 (three) years or more for the candidates, who apply for the posts of Constables in APRO only.
