Educational Qualification:
1. Stenographer Grade-II: Candidates must be graduates from a UGC recognized University, and should possess a Diploma/Certificate in Stenography/Shorthand from ITI/Polytechnic/any other institute. Candidates who are pursuing Stenography/Shorthand may also apply.
2. Stenographer Grade-III: Candidates who have passed H.S. examination from any recognized Board/Council/University can apply. They should also possess a Diploma/Certificate in Stenography/Shorthand from ITI/Polytechnic/any other institute. Candidates who are pursuing Stenography/Shorthand may also apply.
Other Eligibility criteria
Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India as defined in Articles 5 & 6 of the Constitution of India.
Maximum Age Limit: Age limits for the posts, as on the last date of receipt of applications, are as follows: UR – 40, OBC/MOBC – 43, SC – 45, STP/STH – 45, PWD – 50.
Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must have adequate knowledge of the official language (Assamese) of the State of Assam.
Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must possess an Employment exchange registration number for the state of Assam.
