Candidates selected in the first provisional merit list in government and provincial schools can now check the final merit list for TET teachers in high schools as per their district. Here are the key points related to the district verification selection process for the Assam High School teacher recruitment:

Enlisted candidates must choose one district if their names appear in the Provisional Merit List for more than one district.

Candidates have 48 hours to select the district from the time of publication of the 1st Provisional Merit List and 24 hours for subsequent Provisional Merit Lists.

If candidates fail to select a district within the stipulated time, the appointing authority will randomly select a district to fill the vacancies.

No offline applications will be accepted for district selection.

Candidates cannot make any changes after the district selection is successful.

Any candidate found to have submitted fake or forged documents will have their candidature canceled immediately and appropriate legal action taken

The office of the Director of Secondary Education, Assam, or the office of the Inspector of Schools will not be responsible for any lapses on the part of the candidate in the submission of options.

Provisional Merit Lists will be canceled upon publication of the Final Merit List, and appointment letters/orders will be issued only to those whose names appear in the Final Select List.

Claims for appointment based on the Provisional Merit List will not be entertained.

Applicants may submit grievances regarding the publication of the first provisional merit list within 36 hours.

Technical issues such as network failure, power outages, etc., faced by the candidates at the time of option submission will not be the responsibility of the office of the Director of Secondary Education, Assam.
