The Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam, has announced the National Means Cum-Merit Scholarship Examination (NMMS Scholarship Assam 2024) for Class VIII and the National Talent Search (NTS) Examination for Class X students. Online applications are invited from students studying in classes 10 and 8 in 2024-25.

Students must study in government, provincialized, and local committee-run schools under the government of Assam.
Aspirants from private schools can appear in this exam to develop their intelligence, but they will not be considered for the scholarship.
Education Qualification:
For NMMS Exam: Students should be studying in class VIII.
For NTS Exam: Students should be studying in class X.
How to Apply
Eligible and interested students can submit their online application through the Bidyarthi Mobile app or website.
Students can also apply online by visiting the website (Check Important link Section) of the directorate of secondary education.
Required documents:
Scan copy of passport photo and signature.
Scan copy of cast certificates of students.
Declaration of the Head of the Institute.
Details of NMMS Scholarship Exam 2024
The examination paper will be conducted on Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) and OMR basis.
The written examination will be held on 23rd November 2024.
The question paper will be available only in Assamese and English mediums.
OMR will be in only English medium.
