The Sericulture Department Assam has announced 140 vacancies for the post of Sericulture Demonstrator in various districts, sub-divisional offices, and the Sericulture head office.
Details of Sericulture Assam Recruitment 2023
The category-wise distribution of vacancies is as follows: 71 for UR, 38 for OBC/MOBC, 10 for SC, 14 for STP, and 7 for STH.
The pay scale for the post is Rs. 14,000 to Rs. 60,500 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6,200 in Pay Band-2.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Sericulture Assam Recruitment, candidates must be citizens of India as per Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution.
They must have passed the HSLC examination with a one-year Certificate Training Course from Sericultural Training Institute, Titabor, Jorhat up to the 1996-97 batch or
HSSLC (Science) examination passed or equivalent with a one-year Certificate Training Course from Sericultural Training Institute, Titabor, Jorhat from the 1997-98 onwards batch.
The age of the candidate must be between 18 and 40 years as on 01.01.2023, with relaxation of 3 years for OBC/MOBC, 5 years for SC/ST, and 10 years for persons with disabilities.

Interested candidates can apply for the Sericulture Assam Recruitment by submitting a standard application form along with self-attested copies of all testimonials from HSLC onwards, including other relevant certificates, and 2 recent passport size photographs. The application must be sent to the Director of Sericulture, Assam, Reshom Nagar, Khanapara, Ghy-22, and must reach by 5:00 PM on 21.03.2023.
