Special TET Assam 2023 – SSA 6th Schedule TET Online Application

A notification has been issued by SSA Assam announcing a Special Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for Lower Primary in all the 6th Schedule area districts of Assam. Only candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and have a permanent residence in the 6th Schedule area district of Assam are eligible to appear for Paper I (Lower Primary) and Paper II (Upper Primary) of the Special 6th Schedule TET-2023.

Special TET Assam 2023 – Overview

Eligibility Criteria of Assam 6t Schedule TET 2023

Residentship: Candidate must be a permanent resident of the 6th Schedule area districts.

Educational Qualification: To be eligible for the special TET of Lower Primary and Upper Primary in the 6th Schedule area districts of Assam, candidates must meet the following educational qualification criteria:

For Lower Primary TET:

• Candidates must have passed their Higher Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks.
• Candidates must have completed their 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) or Diploma in Education (Special Education) or B.Ed.

For Upper Primary TET:

• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks.
• Candidates must have completed their 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) or Diploma in Education (Special Education) or B.Ed.

It is important to note that candidates who are appearing in the final year of the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for the TET examination, provided they fulfill all other eligibility criteria at the time of application.

• General Candidates: Rs.450/-
• SC/ ST/ OBC/MOBC/ : Rs.350/-
• PwD Candidates: Rs.200/-

3. A new webpage will open, click on the Registration button.
4. Read all the instructions given on the webpage and click on the Next button.
5. Enter all the required personal and educational details as mentioned.
6. Upload your passport-sized photograph and signature.
7. Pay the examination fee as per your category and click on the submit button.
8. Don’t forget to take a printout of the submitted application form.
