Eligibility
Educational Qualification: The student must have passed Class X from SEBA or CBSE Board to enroll in Class XI through Darpan portal.

How to Apply
Eligible Students can apply for free of cost Admission under DARPAN Admission Portal through Online Application Form.
Online Application Form of HS 1st Year Admission is available at DARPAN Online Admission Portal. Students has to Register themselves by first by clicking on Sign Up Button. Fill all the mentioned detail in the Registration Form of DARPAN Online Admission Portal :-
- Scroll down and check the Important Web Links section.
- Click on the HS 1st Year Online Admission link.
- The portal will load, and then click on the “Register a new Account” link.
- Enter your personal and educational details as required by the portal.
- Upload scanned copies of your passport-sized photograph and 10th mark sheet.
- Choose a 4-digit Login PIN and click on the register button.
- Once again, click on the HS 1st Year Online Admission link and log in.
- Select your desired course and choose up to five institutions, in order of preference, for admission.
- Finally, click on the submit button and take a printout of the submitted form for future reference.
Remember: Safely note down your 10 digit mobile number,date of birth and Login password for login into the portal.

Introduction
HS 1st Year Online Admission 2024-25 – Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has developed an online system named “Darpan Online Admission Portal” for HS 1st Year Students, which will enable students to take admission in Intermediate courses of Arts/Science/Commerce in different colleges/schools affiliated and recognized by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) in all districts of the state of Assam.
Students who have passed the matriculation (HSLC) or equivalent examination from the Assam Board of Secondary Education (SEBA) or any other national/state boards are eligible to apply online for admission.

Important of Personal Enrollment Number (PEN Number)
PAN number is a unique identification number for a student. Students who know this number can provide it when enrolling in the Darpan portal. If students are not aware of this Personal Enrollment Number (PEN Number), they should not fill in this option.
How To Download DARPAN AHSEC Merit List 2024
Many students have successfully applied for HS 1st Year Admission through the Darpan Online Admission Portal. They are now eagerly awaiting the release of the Darpan selection Merit List 2024. We would like to inform you that the Board will release the admission preparation of selection/waiting lists by institutes on 5th, May 2024, at 10 AM.
- Check the “Important Web Links” section.
- Click on the “HS 1st Year Darpan Merit List” link.
- The Darpan homepage will appear on the screen.
- Click on “Continue as Students.”
- Enter your details (mobile number, DOB, and 4-digit PIN) used during the time of admission.
- Look for the “Selection List” link and click on it.
- Download the PDF file.
- The AHSEC 1st Year Admission Merit List 2024 will be displayed on the screen.
- Search for your name and other details.
- Save it and print out the Merit List for future reference.
How to Recover Forgot Login Details
If you forget your login details such as the registered mobile number, date of birth, or 4-digit login PIN, don’t worry. The AHSEC Darpan admission portal has a feature that allows you to recover all your login details easily. You can find the recovery link for all the details on the respective page.
To recover your 4-digit login PIN, simply click on the provided recovery link. On the recovery page, enter your registered mobile number and date of birth, and then click the submit button. Your login PIN will be sent to you promptly.
If you can’t remember your registered 10-digit mobile number, there’s still a solution. Enter your 10th exam Roll No. on the recovery page, and you will receive your registered mobile number.
