The Government of Assam will be releasing the official notification for the Anundoram Borooah Award (ARBAS) 2023. The award provides cash awards to students who have secured distinction and star marks in the HSLC/AHM examination, 2023.
The Board of Secondary Education, Assam has decided to collect the bank details of the students mentioned above, and for this purpose, a portal has been opened on the SEBA website. The process will take place from July to September 2023. The portal will have a pre-populated list of eligible students.

Anundoram Borooah Award 2022 – Update
This is to inform all eligible students of the Anundoram Borooah Cash Award 2022 (who have secured 75% and above marks in the HSLC & AHM Examination 2022) that out of the 22,599 eligible students, 1,060 students have not yet registered or submitted their bank details, and 2,548 students who have registered have discrepancies, errors, or incorrect bank details. Hence, the aforementioned students are requested to submit their bank details as per the following instructions:
- Bank Account Number;
- Name of the Bank;
- IFSC;
- Name of the Student;
- Name of the Bank Branch;
Eligibility Criteria For ARBAS 2023
Eligibility: Students Must be secured Distinction/Star marks in the HSLC/AHM examination 2023.
Bank Details: They should have a Bank Account exactly In his/her name. Bank account in any other name or identity will not be accepted.

How To Apply ARBAS 2023
To apply for the Anundoram Borooah Award 2023, eligible students can follow the steps given below:
- Go to the official website of the Board of Secondary Education, Assam.
- Find the link for the Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme (ARBAS) 2023 and click on it.
- Click on the “Application for Cash Award” link and read the instructions carefully.
- Enter your Roll Number, Number and Date of Birth as mentioned in the Admit Card of the HSLC/AHM Examination 2023.
- Provide your Bank Account Number along with the IFS Code after logging in.
- Submit the details and take a printout of the Acknowledgement Receipt for future reference.
Note: The official notification for ARBAS 2023 is yet to be released, and the above steps are based on the previous year’s application process. The exact steps may vary when the new notification is released.

About Anundoram Borooah Award
The Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme was launched by the Government of Assam in the year 2005 with the primary objective of promoting healthy competition among the student community and providing them with IT education. The scheme aims to encourage students to perform better in their studies and enhance their knowledge and skills in information technology.
Under this scheme, students who have secured 75% or above marks in the HSLC and AHM examinations conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam, are eligible for a cash award and a personal computer. The scheme has been successful in promoting the use of information technology in education and has benefited thousands of students across the state.
